Founded in 1927, J.H. Huscroft Ltd. manufactures a wide variety of softwood products, and produces a large assortment of boards and specialty products. Specialty products include laminating stock, timbers, ties, export sizes, and fencing. J.H. Huscroft Ltd. has 75 direct employees and operates a joint venture with the Lower Kootenay Band in Creston, with a staff of 10. They have been steadily expanding operations through new technology and a million-dollar upgrade at the mill.
