Kim Sedrovic, founder of Fernie Wilderness Adventures, has been taking people into the backcountry of Fernie, BC for more than 30 years.
In the winter, Fernie Wilderness Adventures offers Cat Skiing trips and in the summer they take groups fly fishing.
Sedrovic says there are many traditional industries that continue to thrive in Fernie.
“We have world class hunting, world class fishing,” he says, “and we have a strong mining industry and strong logging. We’ve shown it can work together. We’ve got to remember our roots.”
