Raised in the Elk Valley, Ryan Doehle, president and CEO of Isosceles Business Systems Inc., started the business in 1996 when he was still in high school. Ryan’s love for computers and high tech combined with his strong desire to one day run and operate his own business pushed his dream into reality. As well, to avoid having to live in the city to work in his preferred field, entrepreneurship seemed like the best option. As there were already established local computer businesses in Fernie, Ryan saw an opportunity to provide a type of IT service that wasn’t accessible through the local retailers.

Through hard work and with the support of his parents and later his wife Laurel, he was able to focus on the business for the 10 years or so it took to get it to really take off. Isosceles has grown from a small one man operation to a regional IT service provider that employs over 7 people. It is now the premiere technology services provider in Fernie, Sparwood and Elkford. Isosceles regularly services clients from the Crowsnest Pass Alberta, to Cranbrook/Kimberley, and everywhere in between.

Isosceles Business Systems Inc. specializes in computer retail sales, computer service and support, networking, infrastructure cabling, web design and hosting, consulting, offsite backup services, high speed satellite internet, and IP camera systems. Isosceles also has two brand licenses. One is Isosceles Communications, run by Ryan’s dad Stanley, specializing in telecommunications and the other is Isosceles Automation, run by Ryan’s uncle David, specializing in Automation Services.
